The Equity Center advocates for Texas public school districts that are chronically underfunded by our school finance system. Nearly 700 school districts across Texas are members of the Equity Center because they recognize the necessity of having a strong, unified school finance organization to protect them as the state grapples with budget shortfalls, population growth, and rising expectations in education.
